Profile summary:
The Manager (Sales/Customer Acquisition) is to be an experienced business development and
sales professional, to lead new customers acquisition initiatives, and will be responsible for
supporting the customer acquisition journey, working on customer outreach initiatives, and
accelerating the new revenue pipeline. The individual will have the finesse, customer engagement
skills, and a demonstrated track record in executing strategic customer acquisition plans to meet
budgeted financial performance.
The role aims to accelerate business growth and increasing new revenues, identifying and
developing new business opportunities, exploring market potential with limited resources,
aligning products to marketplace requisites, and meeting the changing needs of stakeholders; and
focuses on expanding the visibility of the company and its brands. This will be accomplished by
understanding the customer journey, from generating leads, to prospecting, proposing, and
guiding clients on to right options, for a successful customer acquisition; followed by analysing
key performance indicators.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role contributes to accomplish the organization’s revenue growth requisites, focusing on
acquisition of newer customers and expansion in to newer marketplace segments; accelerating
new revenue growth, and expanding markets. Key responsibilities include:
Solutions Selling
• Building relationships of trust with new customers and ably presenting yourself as a thought
leader in Digital Payments Processing marketplace with demonstrative aptness for our
products, solutions, and services
• Delivering Impactful Presentations for Product Positioning and Pitching, to prospective
Clients and Partners, and to the key decision makers from various teams within the client's
organization.
• Mapping customer requirements with products and services and solutioning for customer
needs/wants/pain points and pitching the respective product/services
• Liaison between the product management and development teams to deliver any new
product features for existing /prospective clients; and update the teams, including customer
success team, on Client's feedback of the product/solutions/services and any other market
insights
• Working with Cross-functional teams to facilitate requirements gatherings for Client's

technical, functional, compliance and InfoSec requirements, and scoping for techno-
commercial proposals, and driving sales closures

Customer Acquisition:
• Build a strategy for customer acquisition, for our prioritized products/solutions, with
alignment to marketplace demands, needs, wants and/or for solving specified pain points
and/or ideating innovative use cases
• Map company’s outreach and sales processes with the customer’s buying processes, with
insights and ideation, as regards what skills, knowledge, process, tools, and strategies, are
required for our marketing and sales team to increase velocity and conversion rates at each
stage in those processes.

Manager (Sales/Customer Acquisition)
• Create customer interest, through pro-active prospecting, to generate leads and influence
demand generation to convert prospects to customers; leading to successful newer customer
acquisitions
Business Development:
• Monitor the marketplace, for opportunities and emerging trends for providing competitive
analysis, and insights for market growth strategies/tactics
• Prepare customized proposal preparations in response for RFPs, for bidding activities, and
for customer specific proposal requirements
• Participate in contract negotiations; and drive revenue growth initiatives for expanding
marketplace potentials and for exploring newer markets
• Engage key stakeholders, build business relationships, across customers, industry forums,
and with regulatory and/or partners agencies, to increase organizational visibility, and have
early insights on potential leads for prospecting, and insights on emerging industry trends
General requirements:
• Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent, with an MBA or equivalent
post-graduation in management, from an institute of repute
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in sales, solutions selling, customer acquisition, business
development, or similar, with high tech B2B enterprises (preferably last 2 to 3 years with a
product-based company in banking/fintech space). A combination of education and
experience can be considered for equivalence.
• Is highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented and demonstrates exceptional
communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Has experience in building and maintaining strong relationships, while working to mitigate
churn and drive engagement and renewals
• Hands-on expertise in building proposals, with exceptional articulation skills using all
elements of impactful presentations
• High on initiative and innovation; possesses great collaboration and influencing skills to work
with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to create and track metrics, drive continual improvements, and thus demonstrate
constant increases in sales productivity and effectiveness
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
• Strong technical acumen and has client-focused solutions experience
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment and can wear many hats in a dynamic
environment, and should be tuned to interact externally day in day out
