Job Description:

Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of our organisation. You will collaborate with other departments to identify and meet their IT needs, ensuring that our systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred if having Industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Experience: min 5 to 10 yrs experience in IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, and cloud integrations
Work location: Pirangut in Pune

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement complex IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, and cloud integrations.
Manage and maintain our organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior IT staff and collaborate effectively with other teams.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and escalate problems as necessary.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance of IT systems.
Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems configuration, processes, and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Experience with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Key-skills required:
Proven experience as a Senior IT Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment.
Expertise in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python) is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
