Manager Planning & Contracting at Kurla west in Mumbai

Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE: Will be responsible for developing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring the timely and efficient execution of projects.

Qualification: BE in Civil engineer
Experience: 5 to 10 years of work experience in a similar role with large real estate developer
Work location: Kurla west in Mumbai

PRIMARY KPAs:
Project Planning:
• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to support overall project objectives.
Resource Allocation:
• Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources and manpower effectively.
• Optimize resource utilization to ensure project efficiency.
Scheduling:
• Create and maintain project schedules using project management tools and software.
• Monitor and update project schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines, and resource availability.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and challenges in project plans.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Reporting:
• Generate regular reports on project progress, key performance indicators, and deviations from the plan.
• Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss planning-related issues and solutions.

Quality Assurance:
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes in project planning.
• Ensure that project plans align with industry standards and best practices.

INTERFACE:
• Design and Engineering – For GFCs and BOQ’s
• Contracts & Procurement – For order and amendments
• Liaison – For approval milestones
• QS – For Cost tracking & monitoring • Intra departmental coordination (coordination between the project department in a single format produced by the project team will be followed to ensure that there is no repetition of data and better communication)

BACKGROUND
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 5 to 10 years of work experience in a similar role with large real estate developer
• Proficiency in MSP
• AutoCAD-ability to read drawings
