Job Summary:

The Emerging Corporate Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for developing and managing relationships with emerging corporate clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, providing tailored financial solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. The RM will be instrumental in driving business growth by leveraging their knowledge of financial products and services to meet the unique needs of corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition and Business Development:

    • Identify and target emerging corporate clients with potential for growth.
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand the bank's portfolio.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  2. Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of emerging corporate clients.
    • Understand clients' business needs and financial goals, offering customized financial solutions.
    • Regularly meet with clients to review their financial status and provide advice on financial products.
  3. Credit and Risk Management:

    • Assess and evaluate clients' creditworthiness and financial status.
    • Prepare credit proposals and present them to the credit committee.
    • Monitor the performance of clients' accounts to ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies and risk management guidelines.
  4. Cross-Selling and Product Knowledge:

    • Promote and cross-sell the bank's products and services, including loans, trade finance, treasury services, and cash management.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide clients with the best financial solutions.
  5. Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including credit, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
    • Collaborate with other RMs and departments to leverage cross-selling opportunities.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
    • Prepare regular reports on client activities, business development efforts, and performance against targets.
