Procurement Manager (Solar & Wind) Mumbai

Job Description:

The Procurement Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and
ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers,
negotiating contracts, and overseeing procurement activities for renewable energy projects. The manager will
collaborate with various stakeholders, monitor market trends, and optimize inventory levels. Additionally, they will
lead a team of procurement professionals and maintain strong supplier relationships to support project needs and
company goals.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project needs and company goals.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage procurement activities for all renewable energy projects, including solar panels, wind turbines,
transformers, inverters, batteries, HT/LT panels, cables and assembly part of all electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, Site leads, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand and fulfil
procurement needs.
• Monitor market trends and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

• Optimize inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Adhere to our Annual Budget plan of each project & ensure the procurements to secure margins
• Supplier orientation for equipment warranty management.
