Job Description:

Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities
 End to end ownership of project management for customer and internal projects.
 Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical
feasibility.
 Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
 Assertively raise risks and issues and drive to closure.
 Develop a detailed project plans and monitor closely.
 Provide and validate project cost forecasts, resource efforts and invoices.
 Ensure that all changes are captured, and no project creep exists.
 Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
 Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
 Report and escalate to management as needed.
 Manage stakeholder and customer relationship.
 Perception management.
 Perform risk management to mitigate project risks.
 Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
 Create and maintain relevant project documentation.
 Handles projects of complex nature using Agile methodologies.
 Understands program management.
 Able to act as an advisor and drive projects to successful closure.
Education & Experience Required
 Good educational background, preferably in the fields of IT, computer science or engineering.
 Proven working experience of 4-5 years in project management roles.
 Understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
 Excellent client-facing skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
 Strong understanding of JIRA, Confluence.
 Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
 PMP Certified (preferred)
 Agile Scrum Certified (CSM) (preferred)
 Exposure on SDLC and non-SDLC projects in emerging technologies:
o Cloud Platforms: such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including knowledge of services like
EC2, S3, Azure App Service, GCP Compute Engine, etc.
o CI/CD: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
o Monitoring and Logging: Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic,
and logging tools like ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.
o Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices architecture and related
technologies like API gateways (e.g., Kong, Apigee) and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
o Application Modernization: Understanding of modernization approaches like containerizing
legacy applications, refactoring monoliths to microservices, or using serverless technologies.
o Data Engineering/Science: Understanding of data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, and
familiarity with machine learning projects.
