Assistant Manager for Mould Design and Development for Mumbai

Job Description:

Job Purpose
The main purpose is to design, develop and implements optimal, cost-effective
manufacturing of moulds along with post moulding operations, in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.

Responsibility:
 Responsible for all new products and moulds from scratch to final production start up.
 Responsible for Techno commercial activities.
 Doing market survey, product cost analysis and costing for new products before mfg. and
before production start-up.
 New moulds manufacturing (both in injection and blow), Inputs in new Hot Runner
moulds designs, Moulds modifications and corrections from internal Tool Room and out sourcing.
 Understand post moulding activities of new product and design and develop and
implement the same functionalities in the mould as well as production machines.
 Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
 Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations
of the company
 Mould repairing follow up, Plant visit, office work.
 Responsible for automation, solutions and corrections for moulds problems.

Key Skills
 Technical knowledge in Moulds repairing.
 Knowledge of Autocad.
 Experience in Multi Cavity Hot and cold Runner Moulds
 Problem solving, negotiations, communications and networking skills.
 Good Experience in packaging (IM, BM, EBM, ISBM) Moulds.
 PC literate with Words, Excel & PowerPoint skills.

Essential Qualifications: BE /Btech + Diploma in Tool and Die making or Graduate in Plastic
Mould Technology from CIPET or equivalent degree.

Total Experience: 10 yrs (In any plastic ancillary industries/automotive ancillary units)

Age Profile: around 35 years
