1. Plan, Organise & Implement Maintenance plan in power plant department for continuous and smooth operation of Turbo generator.
2. Carry out routine maintenance.
3. Organize & execute preventive maintenance as per schedule.
4. Implement corrective action.
5. Ensure job completion with available manpower.
6. Plan and execute improvements
7. Plan & execute all maintenance activities within the budgeted cost and time.
8. Identify areas for improvements.
9. Carryout Life value analysis.
10. Study for alternatives.
11. Take corrective action.
12. Review for effectiveness.
13. Identify and maintain spares required for carrying out timely maintenance activities.
14. Carryout safe work practices and ensure that statutory compliances are met in day-to-day activities
15. Follow safety work permit system.
16. Review condition of tools.
17. Ensure usage of safety appliances & safety tools.
18. Follow standard operating procedures.
19. Arrange for the removal of non-conformity as per compliance report of Inspectorate.
20. Implementation of QMS, EMS, OHSMS and WCM systems for continuous improvement
21. Implement action plan for set Objectives and Targets.
22. Conduct audits as per schedule.
23. Coordinate and implement WCM activities in the section.
24. Prepare MIS reports of the section on maintenance performance.
25. Follow standard operating procedures.
26. Impart on job training and motivate for skill development.
27. Knowledge sharing with subordinates & workmen on new developments.
28. Impart on job training to workmen.
29. Explain Dos & Don’ts.
30. Improve awareness among workmen about resource conservation.
31. Implementation of new development initiatives for improvement.
32. Collect and Analyse maintenance data.
33. Identify & suggest improvement opportunities.
34. Preparing electrical system layout.
35. Preparing estimates.
36. Seek sanction
37. Implementation of Improvement projects and modifications.
