Job Summary:
The Automobile Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing and resolving issues related to automotive systems, managing maintenance schedules and overseeing repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles and equipment.

Identify and troubleshoot issues, develop and implement repair plans.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake pad replacements.

Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions and electrical systems.

Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient repair work.
Administrative Responsibilities

Manage maintenance schedules and records for vehicles and equipment.

Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Monitor and control maintenance costs.
