Job Description:

 Role & responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Ensure robust billing and collection process for timely receipt of payments from customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective credit management and risk assessment.
  • Monitor AR aging reports and take appropriate actions to address overdue accounts.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and customer issues.

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Supervise the processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Manage the reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Process Improvement and optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AR and AP operations.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for AR and AP to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyze AR and AP reports, providing insights into cash flow and financial performance.
  • Assist in forecasting cash flow needs and managing working capital.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to AR and AP.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to credit, collections, and vendor payments.

Collaboration:

  • Cross functional collaboration including finance, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Strong Experience and understanding of AR and AP processes, financial controls, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
