Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Techno-Marketing Manager is responsible for blending technical product knowledge with marketing strategies to drive the success of food products. This role involves working closely with product development, quality assurance, and sales teams to ensure products are well-positioned in the market, meet regulatory standards, and resonate with consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise

o Develop a deep understanding of the company’s food products, including ingredients, manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

o Liaise with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to stay updated on product specifications, safety, and shelf-life requirements.

o Conduct technical training for the sales team, ensuring they are well-versed in product details and selling points.

2. Market Research & Consumer Insights

o Perform market research to understand consumer needs, trends, and preferences, especially in health and safety concerns.

o Identify gaps in the market for new products or improvements to existing products.

o Analyze competitors' products, positioning, and marketing strategies to refine company offerings.

3. Marketing Strategy Development

o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new food products, including positioning, pricing, promotion, and distribution.

o Collaborate with the marketing team to create product-centric campaigns, advertisements, and educational materials for consumers.

o Plan and implement digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization.

4. Sales Enablement & Support

o Support the sales team with in-depth product knowledge, technical specifications, and competitive advantages.

o Design and deliver training sessions, presentations, and tools to help the sales team effectively communicate product benefits to clients.

o Work closely with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to provide technical support, address product inquiries, and resolve issues.

5. Technical Documentation & Compliance

o Develop and maintain accurate product documentation, including technical sheets, brochures, and regulatory compliance certifications.

o Ensure all marketing materials are compliant with food safety regulations and industry standards.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Customer Feedback

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and logistics to align product features with market needs.

o Collect and analyze customer feedback, channeling insights to product development for continuous improvement.

7. Reporting & Analysis

o Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, sales trends, and consumer feedback.

o Analyze metrics to adjust strategies and enhance the impact of marketing efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in marketing or product management in the food industry, preferably with technical expertise.

• Strong knowledge of food safety, regulatory standards, and industry trends.

• Proven experience in product positioning, market analysis, and consumer insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of food science and technology, understanding product specifications, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

• Marketing Acumen: Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with consumer needs and market trends.

• Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, consumer trends, and campaign performance to drive product success.

• Problem-Solving: Capability to resolve technical issues and adapt strategies based on consumer feedback and market dynamics.
