Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst to join our Investment Research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques, with a deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making by providing accurate and insightful financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Develop complex financial models and conduct valuation analyses for various investment projects, mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
• Analyze financial statements, prepare forecasts, and perform scenario analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Evaluate financial performance and prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct industry research and benchmarking to provide insights into market trends and competitive dynamics.
• Support the preparation of business cases and investment proposals by providing accurate financial modeling and analysis.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards relevant to financial modeling and valuation.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or private equity.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).

Preferred Qualifications:
• CA, CFA or MBA (Finance)
• 2-4 years of experience working with investment banking, equity research, or private equity
• Prior experience in deal execution and transaction structuring is an additional advantage, though not mandatory
