Project Engineer based at Mumbai & Pune

Job Description:

1. Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities on interior construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
2. Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, interior designers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and optimize resource utilization.
3. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and installations, identifying deviations from plans and specifications and implementing corrective measures as needed.
4. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site, conducting safety inspections, addressing hazards, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among all personnel.
5. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges to project stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and senior management.
6. Material Procurement: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to site, verifying quantities, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
7. Problem Resolution: Address site-related issues and conflicts promptly, proposing solutions, and escalating complex issues to senior management or project managers as necessary.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of site activities, including daily reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.
9. Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to site staff, including laborers and subcontractors, conducting training sessions on safety procedures, quality standards, and best practices.
10. Billing & Certifications: Work closely with partners and third party auditors to ensure timely billing and certification of works done at site.
