Job Title: Training Manager

Company-Leading Pharmaceutical MNC

Working days – 5 days

Location- BKC
Timing– 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Will have to travel for the said role. 
Salary- Basis caliber and experience

  • Education: Graduate from a recognized university (preferably with a bioscience background).
  • Experience:
    • 4-5 years in Sales Training/Training.
    • 8-10 years in Sales, preferably in retail sales and training.
    • Proficiency in TNA, TNI, competency frameworks, LMS management, content design, and sales coaching.

Job Summary
The Training Manager will drive the capability-building initiatives for the contract field force (Pharmacy Sales Team & HCP Support Team). Responsibilities include onboarding new joiners, executing training need analysis (TNA) and training need identification (TNI), designing and delivering training content, managing digital training initiatives, and driving performance improvement through coaching and analytics. The role demands collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance productivity and ensure adherence to company processes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct TNA and TNI based on job observations and stakeholder inputs.
  • Identify suitable talent for 3rd-party payroll positions.
  • Design and deliver learning content for workshops and digital platforms.
  • Develop and implement training calendars, tools, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Manage LMS (user creation, learning assignments, analytics).
  • Provide on-job coaching, prioritizing new joiners and low-productivity areas.
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure market readiness.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategic inputs and collaterals.
  • Develop and track competency frameworks for individual and team-level progression.
  • Monitor sales productivity using SFE KPIs and implement necessary interventions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Execute training interventions per the planned calendar.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and coaching for new joiners.
  • Drive competency assessments and coaching cycles as scheduled.
  • Provide training analytics and monthly reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct TNA and TNI periodically to refine training needs.
  • Organize and manage virtual and in-person training programs, including logistics.
  • Adhere to Abbott's compliance policies.

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of training processes and retail selling.
  • Proven track record in sales roles within reputable organizations.
  • Ability to manage digital training tools and analyze performance metrics.
