Job Description:

Position: Area Sales Manager
Reports to: Regional Business Head - South

Job Overview:
An Area Sales Manager (ASM) plays a crucial role in driving sales, expanding market reach, and
managing the operations in a designated geographical area. Here’s a job overview:

Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Market Expansion
 Identify and target potential markets and customer segments.
 Develop and execute strategies to increase market share.
 Build a robust pipeline of leads to achieve business goals.

2. Revenue Target Achievement
 Drive sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
 Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
 Forecast and report sales performance metrics to management.

3. BTL Activity Management
 Plan and execute Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities in collaboration with business
partners.
 Analyze the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and recommend improvements.
 Ensure alignment of BTL initiatives with overall sales strategies.

4. Dealer and Channel Sales Development

 Provide ongoing support and training to dealers to enhance sales performance.
 Resolve dealer issues and maintain long-term relationships.

5. Network Development and Dealer Management
 Expand and optimize the dealer network for maximum market coverage.
 Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines by channel partners.
 Regularly monitor dealer performance and provide actionable feedback.

 Proficiency in analyzing market trends and customer needs
 Strong organizational and leadership abilities

 

Preferred Candidate Profile:
 Proven experience in EV or OEM industry.
 Strong understanding of channel sales and dealer management.
 Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets consistently.
 Experience in managing marketing campaigns and BTL activities.
 Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

 

Qualifications & Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
 5 to 12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electric vehicle or two wheeler.
 Strong understanding of EV manufacturing Industries, including technical aspects
