A Dealer Sales Executive (DSE) in the heavy vehicle industry is responsible for driving sales and achieving targets by interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and promoting the company's heavy vehicles. This role involves sales process adherence, market coverage, relationship building, and training participation.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Volume:Achieving monthly sales targets for heavy vehicles.

Sales Process:Following the established sales process and ensuring adherence to company guidelines.

Market Coverage:Regularly visiting potential and existing customers to generate leads and sales opportunities.

Relationship Building:Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, body builders, financiers, and other stakeholders.

Product Knowledge:Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company's heavy vehicle products and their features.

Customer Interaction:Meeting with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide suitable transportation solutions with the company's products.

Promotional Activities:Participating in and executing promotional activities like loan melas, demo events, and customer meets.

Reporting:Generating necessary sales reports and providing updates to the management.

Training:Participating in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Stakeholder Management:Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as body builders, financiers, and drivers.

Market Intelligence:Gathering market information and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Sales Strategy Execution:Implementing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and market penetration.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Sales Experience: Typically requires 2+ years of experience in selling commercial vehicles.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy vehicles, their applications, and financing options.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of the local market and customer requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to close sales.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address customer concerns and resolve issues.
