Job Description:
A Sales Manager leads and motivates a sales team to achieve revenue goals by developing sales strategies, setting targets, analyzing performance, and training staffKey responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring team members, managing customer relationships, overseeing the entire sales pipeline, and reporting on sales activity and performance to management.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Planning:
    Develop and implement effective sales plans, strategies, and processes to drive revenue and market growth. 
     
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. 
     
  • Goal Setting & Performance Management:
    Set realistic sales goals, quotas, and forecasts, and continuously monitor and evaluate team performance against these targets. 
     
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities and improve sales strategies, then report progress to upper management. 
     
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure customer satisfaction. 
     
  • Budget Management:
    Develop and manage the sales budget to ensure profitable growth. 
     
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with marketing and other departments to generate leads and support overall business objectives. 
     
  • Operations Oversight:
    Supervise all aspects of the sales process, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
