Job Description:
An office boy/girl (office assistant) provides essential support, ensuring a clean, organized, and functional workspace. Key duties include managing office cleanliness, serving refreshments, filing, photocopying, scanning, distributing mail, and running errands. They maintain inventory, assist with meeting setups, and perform basic administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Cleanliness: Cleaning and organizing desks, meeting rooms, common areas, and pantries.
- Hospitality: Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and water to staff and visitors.
- Administrative Support: Filing, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents.
- Mail Handling: Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail, documents, and packages.
- Office Maintenance: Monitoring and restocking kitchen/stationery supplies.
- Errands: Running outside errands such as banking or purchasing office supplies.
- Meeting Setup: Organizing furniture and equipment in meeting rooms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (10th/12th pass).
- Experience: 0–1 year in a similar role is generally preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and physically active.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move items for extended periods.
