Client is a premium solar solutions provider, specializing in high-quality C&I rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations. With a focus on superior engineering, seamless execution, and customer-centric service, we aim to revolutionize solar adoption across India. Client is seeking a Project Manager with strong technical and leadership capabilities to oversee the execution of multiple ground-mounted solar projects (5 MW and above) across India. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and as per technical and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with site teams, vendors, contractors, and the head office, along with regular site visits to monitor and guide progress. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution ● Develop and manage project execution plans, ensuring alignment with approved ● schedules and budgets. ● Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of ● materials and equipment. ● Supervise and guide site activities across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.● ● Monitor construction milestones, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to project ● timelines. Site Supervision & Vendor Coordination ● Regularly visit multiple project sites to oversee progress and quality of execution. ● Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks. ● Enforce safety practices and ensure compliance with statutory requirements at all sites. Technical Oversight ● Review electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other technical documents. ● Verify site installations against design specifications and quality standards. ● Support in commissioning activities, grid synchronization, and handover to O&M teams. Reporting & Documentation ● Maintain project dashboards and submit regular progress reports to the head office. 1 ● Track daily/weekly site activities, manpower deployment, and material usage. ● Document delays, risks, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency in project performance. Stakeholder Management ● Act as the central point of contact between site teams, vendors, and senior management. ● Liaise with DISCOMs, government authorities, and local stakeholders for inspections and approvals. ● Provide clear communication to clients on progress and address site-level concerns. Required Skills & Experience ● Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory). ● Experience: Minimum 7 years in execution of utility-scale or C&I ground-mounted solar projects (5 MW+). ● Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, cabling, and grid integration. ● Proven track record of managing multiple sites simultaneously. ● Familiarity with project management tools (Zoho, MS Project, or equivalent). ● Vendor and contractor management expertise. ● Understanding of regulatory processes and DISCOM approvals.
