- Work Timings – 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Working Days – Monday to Friday & Alternate Saturdays (1st Sat, 3rd Sat & 5th Sat)

Role Overview
The Depository Operations Manager will oversee all depository-related activities, client servicing and compliance under the CDSL framework. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations team, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to SEBI/CDSL regulations. The candidate will also drive automation and process efficiency across the back-office and depository functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all CDSL operations, including account opening/modification, demat/remat, pledge/unpledge, DIS verification, off-market and on-market transfers, corporate actions, and settlement processing.
- Ensure daily reconciliation between back-office, exchange settlement files and CDSL data.
- Handle client queries, complaints, and transaction approvals, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Liaise with CDSL, NSDL (if applicable), exchanges, SEBI auditors, and internal departments for smooth coordination and compliance reporting.
- Monitor DP regulatory compliance – including internal audits, inspection reports, power of attorney handling, KYC adherence, and control procedures as per SEBI/CDSL guidelines.
- Oversee DP operations team – allocate work, monitor productivity, train staff, and ensure adherence to SLAs and TATs.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Risk, and IT teams for system updates, automation, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports – daily activity reports, reconciliation summaries, inspection replies, and audit data.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Stay updated on latest SEBI/CDSL circulars and ensure timely implementation of operational changes.
Experience & Pre-requisites :
- Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Depository Operations (CDSL/NSDL), of which at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI/CDSL/NSE regulations, DP operations, and back-office systems (e.g., Shilpi / Techexcel, NSDL/CDSL applications, and other broker back-office software).
- Hands-on experience in reconciliation, compliance reporting,
- Familiarity with exchange settlement cycles, payout/payin processes, and risk control mechanisms.
- Experience in managing internal audits and exchange inspections
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze operational data/MIS.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High integrity, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
