Job Description:
Key Responsibilities (Hospitality/Food Service)
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Washing dishes/equipment, sanitizing surfaces, maintaining clean dining/kitchen areas, proper waste disposal.
- Support: Assisting chefs, stocking stations (bar/restaurant), setting/clearing tables, rolling cutlery, managing inventory.
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, refilling drinks, addressing basic guest needs to enhance their experience.
- Safety: Adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations (EHS), reporting hazards.
Key Responsibilities (Other Stewarding Roles)
- Data Steward: Managing data quality, definitions, governance, and documentation for an organization's data.
- Event/Venue Steward: Directing guests, managing entry/exit, providing general support and safety at events (may require SIA license in UK for security tasks).
- Flight Attendant (Steward/Stewardess): Ensuring passenger safety, comfort, food/drink service, and cabin maintenance on flights.
