Job Description:
A Sales Officer drives revenue by finding leads, pitching products/services, closing deals, and managing client relationships, focusing on achieving targets through strategy, market research, and reporting to management, often requiring skills in communication, negotiation, and CRM software. Key duties include prospecting, preparing proposals, handling customer inquiries, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with marketing, with responsibilities varying for B2B or B2C sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities, generate leads (cold calls/networking), and expand the customer base.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand needs, provide support, and resolve issues.
- Sales Execution: Prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate terms, close deals, and meet sales targets.
- Reporting & Strategy: Track sales data, prepare reports, analyze market trends, and contribute to sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing and other departments to align goals and promote productS.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field often preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record of meeting sales targets, often with B2B or specific industry experience.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, time management, and self-motivation.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software, sales tools, and data analy
