Job Description:
A Front Office Executive is the face of a resort, managing guest relations, check-ins, and daily administrative operations. They ensure a seamless vacation experience, coordinate with housekeeping and food and beverage teams, and resolve complaints promptly. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Core Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Services
  • First Impressions: Warmly greet arriving guests, handle check-in/check-out processes, and assign rooms according to preferences.
  • Concierge Duties: Provide details about resort amenities, local attractions, dining options, and recreational activities.
  • Conflict Resolution: Listen to guest feedback and complaints, resolving issues swiftly to guarantee satisfaction. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Reservations & Administration
  • Booking Management: Handle room reservations via phone, email, or online platforms, ensuring accurate guest data and stay dates.
  • Billing & Payments: Process payments, verify credit cards, and generate accurate invoices.
  • Upselling: Promote premium rooms, packages, spa treatments, and resort amenities to maximize revenue. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Resort Coordination
  • Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate with the housekeeping team to prioritize room cleaning for early arrivals and VIPs.
  • Safety & Security: Manage room keys, safeguard guest belongings, and follow emergency procedures. [1, 2, 3]

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent, Hotel Receptionist, or in a resort customer service role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), reservation software, and MS Office.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on a rotational schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
