Job Description:
An Office Boy, or office assistant, maintains a tidy, organized, and functional work environment by performing daily cleaning, running errands, and supporting administrative tasks. Key duties include cleaning workspaces, serving refreshments, managing mail, restocking supplies, and assisting staff with photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Maintenance: Keeping the office clean, including desks, common areas, and office equipment.
- Administrative Support: Assisting staff with filing, scanning, printing, and photocopying documents.
- Refreshments:
Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and water to staff and visitors.
- Errands & Mail: Handling courier services, distributing internal mail, and running outside errands.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing office supplies, such as stationery and pantry items.
- Logistics: Assisting with setting up meeting rooms and rearranging office furniture.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is generally preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or housekeeping is an advantage.
- Skills: Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, with basic organizational and communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle tasks requiring physical effort.
