Job Description:
A Marketing Executive for a glass dealer shop is responsible for driving sales by promoting various glass products (tempered, laminated, decorative, mirrors) to residential, commercial, and construction clients. They bridge the gap between the showroom/dealer and the customer, focusing on expanding the market presence, generating leads, and maintaining relationships with contractors, architects, and retail customers. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Sales Generation: Identify potential clients (interior designers, contractors, developers, homeowners) and generate sales leads to achieve territory or shop-level revenue targets.
  • B2B and B2C Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and corporate clients to ensure steady business flow.
  • Retail/Showroom Marketing: Organize local marketing initiatives, such as visiting site locations, organizing displays, and promoting product lines to increase customer footfall.
  • Product Knowledge & Promotion: Showcase and explain product specifications (e.g., soundproof glass, toughened glass, decorative mirrors) to customers, answering technical queries.
  • Marketing Material Distribution: Handle promotional activities, including distributing brochures, flyers, and updating social media channels with new glass designs.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research on competitor pricing, new products, and customer trends to suggest actionable improvements.
  • Reporting: Track daily sales activities, update CRM tools, and present weekly/monthly reports on performance and lead conversion. 
     
 
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in building materials, interior design products, or glass/aluminum industry is preferred.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate deals, close sales, and work under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
  • Local Market Familiarity: Good knowledge of local retail markets, builders, and construction projects.
  • Field Work: Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
  • Tools: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) is crucial; Tally knowledge can be a plus. 
     
 
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Generally 0–3 years of experience in sales or marketing, particularly in the building materials industry
