Job Description:
A training officer focusing on recruitment handles onboarding new hires, designing talent acquisition training, and assessing skill gaps. They bridge the gap between human resources and staff education to ensure new team members are ready for their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Induction: Lead orientation programs, introduce company policies, and guide new staff through initial job readiness.
- Recruitment Support: Help screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and train hiring managers on unbiased interviewing techniques.
- Needs Assessment: Identify skill gaps in incoming staff and create targeted recruitment or training strategies.
- Program Design: Build learning materials, manuals, and e-learning modules for continuous staff development.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor employee performance during probation and evaluate training success using feedback and data.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Prior work in recruitment, HR support, or corporate training.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, strong organization, and interpersonal abilities.
