Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, safety procedures, and plant safety standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, JSA, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, work-at-height, confined space, and hot work procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, and regular safety training for employees and contractors.
- Monitor contractor safety and safe work practices.
- Coordinate fire safety, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and emergency response activities.
- Inspect firefighting systems, emergency equipment, and other safety equipment.
- Maintain EHS records, inspection reports, training records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
- Support ISO 45001 / IMS implementation and audits.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, labeling, and use of chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act, Rules, and EHS statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to strengthen the plant safety culture.
