PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR FOR FOUNDRY STEEL SHOTS MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Operations & Scheduling: Plan, organize, and assign daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and target output.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate production staff; handle shift scheduling, attendance, and performance coaching.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, conduct safety talks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (such as OSHA or local guidelines).
• Quality Control: Monitor production output to ensure products meet required quality specifications and troubleshoot defects immediately.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Inspect machinery regularly and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and fix technical issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like output volume, scrap rates, and machine utilization; apply Lean or Six Sigma principles to cut waste.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily/monthly production logs and report performance metrics to the Production or Plant Manager.

• Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environment, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, inventory systems (e.g., ERP/SAP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Core Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Certifications (Bonus): Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma Green Belt, or APICS CPIM.
