Purchase Engineer
Job Description:
1. Responsible for sourcing and procuring various mechanical & electrical components like Gears, Motors, casting etc from different vendors .
2. Prepare Cost Break-up & Cost comparison between Prices quoted by different vendors.
3. Actively involved in Purchase Price reduction activities.
4. Arrange new vendors, evaluate them and finalise Rate Contract (RC) with them in co-ordination with GM-Operations.
5. Ensure timely delivery of various components from each vendors and initiate alternate arrangements incase of supply risk from a particular vendor.
6. Evaluating Vendors on a regular basis with regards to Quality, Delivery and Cost reduction.
7. Preparing Purchase Orders and issuing to respective vendors on time.
