Position Overview: (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore)


A Sales Travel Agent is a professional responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling travel-related products and services to clients. These individuals work in the travel industry and help clients plan and book their vacations, business trips, or other travel arrangements. They must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand clients' needs, offer suitable travel options, and close sales effectively. A successful Sales Travel Agent should be knowledgeable about various destinations, travel products, and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Consultation: Interact with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budgets. Offer personalized travel recommendations and itinerary planning to match their needs.
  • Sales and Booking: Utilize knowledge of travel products, such as flights, hotels, tours, cruises, rental cars, and travel insurance, to propose suitable packages or arrangements. Facilitate the booking process efficiently and accurately.
  • Itinerary Customization: Create custom travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodations, activities, and any other client-specific requests.
  • Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or amenities to enhance the client's travel experience. Cross-sell other travel-related products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Stay Updated with Travel Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, new destinations, travel restrictions, and changes in regulations to offer the most up-to-date and relevant information to clients.
  • need to do field visits if required.
