1. Scope of the role

Store acquisition to drive market strategy & growth, lead company’s expansion in the targeted regions. responsible for Market Mapping, Submission of presentation, Negotiation with landlord/ Mall.

2. Job Profile

  • Expansion Strategy:

Develop a comprehensive retail store expansion strategy aligning with the company's goals and market opportunities. Analyze market trends, demographics, and competition to identify optimal locations for new stores.

 

  • Site Selection:

Lead the site selection process, including market research, feasibility studies, and lease negotiations. Collaborate with real estate agents, landlords, and developers to secure suitable locations.

 

  • Project Management:

Oversee all aspects of the expansion process, from store design to store setup and launch. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

 

  • Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all new stores comply with the licensing and other regulatory requirements. Obtain necessary permits and licenses for each location.

 

  • Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for each potential location to assess the return on investment (ROI) and profitability. Develop and manage the budget for expansion projects.

 

  • Quality Assurance:

Ensure that each new store meets the company's quality standards in terms of layout, merchandising, branding, and customer experience. Conduct post-launch evaluations to address any issues.

 

3. The right person

  • Graduate / MBA with 6 - 8 years as a Business Development in retail expansion cum Liasioning Manager
  • Outstanding written & oral Communication Skill & Polished presentation & interpersonal skill. Good financial & business sense and with Logical/Lateral Thinking Abilities, good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of Mall presence, real estate, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful expansion strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Project management expertise with a track record of meeting deadlines and budgets.
