If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing automation end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.   By joining our team, your key responsibilities will include taking part in various projects, setting up API Automation Framework to speed up functional testing in sprints.    Responsibilities:  ●Grasp new modules/features of the product quickly.  ●Understand existing Karate UI Automation Framework quickly.  ●Extend existing UI karate framework to include API test automation (Currently GraphQL API, later into REST APIs).  ●Form API Test automation suite in a way that can be adapted to be executed and enhanced selectively for different sprints in different projects.  ●Ability to explore different strategies while setting up the framework and select the best one based on merits.  ●Understanding API Documents  ●On non-automation sprints: Take end-to-end ownership of modules assigned in every sprint involving creating detailed, comprehensive and  well-structured test plans and test cases, follow through meticulous executions and retest cycles and finally releasing the modules to  production   ●Interact with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements & help in holistic Test Cases, Exhibit  complete ownership of Assigned areas.  ●Proactively engage, execute and lead with other teams and projects as/when required  ●Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements    Desired Experience : Technical Skills : ●A minimum of Hands-On 3 years experience in all aspects of manual testing (Black & White Box Testing) of web applications.  ●A minimum of Hands-On 2 years’ experience in Front-End/UI Automation using Karate/Selenium.  ●A minimum of Hands-On 6 years’ experience in API Test Automation. (Minimum 3 years on Graph QL APIs)  ●Experience in maintaining existing test suites/packs at a quick pace per sprint in midst of rapid changes of product code.  ●Experience in enhancing existing framework to make it perform better.  ●Strong in concepts of working with DB (concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  ●Experience of working with gitlab/GitHub.  ●Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases   ●Understanding of concepts of working with DB (Strong on concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  ●Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus   Soft Skills :    ●Good communication skills to be able to relay info to and from all categories of internal stakeholders.  ●Strong Commitment and Ownership towards agreed-upon tasks - Should work around blockers and strive to keep moving ahead.    Qualifications :   ●B.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics &  Communication/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering.  ●ISTQB Certification is MUST  ●Prior experience working on B2B Software, platforms or Product is a must   ●Domain experience in Finance, Capital Markets, and Private Equity (This is a must-match)
