Job Description:

Job Title: Export Manager, International Sales & Marketplaces

Work Timings – 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Working Days – Monday to Friday

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Export Manager to spearhead our international sales efforts, manage B2B marketplaces like Alibaba, and ensure seamless compliance with export regulations of different countries. This role involves generating high quality leads, expanding our global distribution network, and ensuring all product and documentation requirements meet international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Development:
1. Generate and convert international leads through marketplaces like Alibaba, TradeIndia, and Global Sources.
2. Identify and onboard new distributors, partners, and clients globally.
3. Drive business development strategies to enter new markets and scale existing ones.
Marketplace Management:
1. Optimise product listings, profiles, and marketing content on global B2B marketplaces.
2. Respond promptly to inquiries and manage RFQs effectively to maximize conversions.
Export Documentation & Compliance:
1. Ensure all export documentation aligns with the compliance requirements of different countries.
2. Stay updated on trade regulations, certifications, and product registrations required in target markets.
3. Coordinate with logistics, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth shipment processes.
Market Research & Strategy:
1. Analyse international market trends, competitor activities, and demand forecasts.
2. Provide insights for pricing, promotional strategies, and new market entry.
Coordination & Reporting:
1. Work closely with internal teams (sales, logistics, marketing) to ensure timely order execution.
2. Maintain detailed reports on leads, conversion rates, and market expansion progress.
Requirements:
Proven experience in export sales, international business development, or B2B marketplaces. Familiarity with Alibaba or similar global trade platforms. Strong knowledge of export regulations, compliance, and country-specific requirements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
