Job Description:

Positiion – Sr. Clound Engineer M365 (Level 3)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have worked as a Level 3 engineer or above for at least 3 years.
  • Must at least have 7-9 years of total working experience.
  • Education must be Graduate or Above
  • Must have extensive working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams etc.
  • Must Have Certifications: MCSA/MCSE - MS100/101/203/700

Principal Responsibilities:                                     

  • Manage and optimize the entire Microsoft 365 environment, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Azure AD.
  • Provide advanced Level 3 support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
  • Implement and configure security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access Policies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) within the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Perform PowerShell scripting and automation for routine administrative tasks and system maintenance.
  • Monitor performance and availability of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring they are highly available and perform optimally.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 updates and best practices, making recommendations for optimization and new feature adoption.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, providing mentorship and advanced problem-solving assistance. Troubleshooting the advanced Office365 issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved in the defined SLA & appropriate solution is provided to the customer.
  • Lead the resolution of critical IT issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external support teams to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
  • Will be responsible for updating, sharing daily, weekly & monthly Office365 related tickets tracker & analysis.
  • Resolving any global, cross-functional, or work-team issues
  • Defining key management routines and governance strategy to ensure effective business process execution.
  • Reporting and trending on the effectiveness of the solutions and standards
  • Initiate improvements in tools, requirements gathering, processes, and people.
  • Must be able to use & provide advanced tools for issues diagnosis & troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to handle individual projects related to new implementations, improvisations, or migrations to Microsoft365 from multiple source platforms.

 Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Servers Operating Systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Extensive knowledge of emailing: MS Exchange 2013 ,2016, 2019 & Online (O365)
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Sharing, Print Sharing etc
  • Extensive knowledge of SMTP, POP3 and Exchange mail protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of Exchange Hybrid Configuration & Mail Flow troubleshooting
  • Extensive knowledge in supporting OneDrive for Business, MS Teams, SharePoint Online., Microsoft Intune , Microsoft Defender Products
  • Able to troubleshoot complex Exchange Online Mail Flow & Environmental Issues.
  • Able to analyze Exchange Logs and provide RCA of the reported issues.
  • Relevant experience on Office365 Exchange Online, Online Spam Filtering, Connectors, Transport Rule, DKIM, DMARC, Auditing, Retention & Archival policies, DLP, Message Trace & header Analysis, Public Folder Management.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of on-prem & O365 Hybrid Environment
  • Must have extensive knowledge in AZURE AD and AD Connect implementation.
  • Must have extensive experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting activities in Office365 using advanced tools like PowerShell.
  • Must have extensive knowledge & experience in implementing ADFS Single Sign One with Office365 & configuring ADFS internal & proxy servers.
  • Must have extensive experience in working with Exchange Backups and Restores using native backup tools and 3rd party backup software. 
  • Must have extensive knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Extensive understanding of network protocols e.g. TCP / IP & mail traffic & DNS flows
  • Extensive administrative Knowledge on other Office365 products like MS Teams, SharePoint online etc.
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting & diagnosing issues using tools like Ping, Telnet, Tracert etc. 

Must have Skills: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams (Cloud Telephony), Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access Polices, Basic networking skills (Ping, Telnet, Tracert etc.)
