  • Designation- Area Sales Manager (ASM)/Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
  • Education: Graduate (MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing preferred).
  • Experience: 5-8 years in sales, business development, or distribution management in GT or MT channels. Experience in dairy/food product sales is a plus.
  • Work Schedule: 8.5 hours/day, 6 days/week.
  • Salary-Basis current package and experience.
  • Perks: Travel allowance, performance-based incentives, and bonus.
  • Location: Marine Lines, (with frequent travel within the region).

Role Overview:

Drive sales and expand market presence for premium dairy and food products across GT and MT channels in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and market share growth across assigned regions in General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores).
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to all retailers and trade partners.
  • Develop and execute strategies for new customer acquisition, market penetration, and product placement.
  • Manage and grow the GT and MT distributor networks, ensuring alignment with company sales objectives and policies.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activity in the market, adjusting strategies to outperform competitors.
  • Ensure proper merchandising of products in retail outlets, implementing POS (Point of Sale) materials and visibility initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Track sales performance, manage account budgets, and prepare sales reports for senior management.
  • Ensure efficient distribution and supply chain management within the region, collaborating with logistics and warehouse teams to avoid stockouts and delays.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team and distributors to maximize sales potential.
  • Implement promotional activities and schemes in collaboration with the marketing team to boost sales during key seasons or events.
  • Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues related to product quality or service.
 Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical skills for sales tracking and performance metrics.
  • Market knowledge and strategic thinking.
