JOB SUMMARY
The primary objective of the Sales Manager – Water Well Screens is to be part of the Global
Product Line, design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer
base, and ensure a strong presence in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The Country Head must
maximise the potential of the internal sales team and adopt a competitive and innovative approach
for new product development.
The role will work closely with the WWS Technical Solutions Lead to identify, develop, and execute
strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth. This includes aligning technical and commercial
strategies, leveraging technical expertise to unlock new market opportunities, and ensuring
alignment with global WWS objectives.
2.ACCOUNTABILITIES
∙Be part of the Global Sales team and ensure the company’s long-term plans are achieved.
∙Work closely with the WWS Technical Solutions Lead to identify and develop strategic initiatives
that will deliver growth in target markets.
∙Manage WWS business activities across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, ensuring market
coverage, revenue growth, and strategic customer engagement.
∙Determine annual booking, volume, and gross profit targets for existing and new products/markets.
∙Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by collaborating with them and understanding their needs.
∙Implement suitable marketing strategies to achieve forecasted bookings, volume, and gross profit, analysing trends and results.
∙Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitive activity.
∙Set and monitor volume, gross profit, and expense budgets.
∙Present booking, volume, gross profit, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
∙Determine human resource requirements, select, orient, and train employees.
∙Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
∙Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
∙Monitor and review the performance of staff and organise necessary interventions for improvement.
