About the Role:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a detailed eye and quick learning abilities to grasp a new product quickly and be able to own up specific modules in every sprint, write effective, clear & precise TestCases, plan and executing them enabling us to provide Full Test Coverage & a world class quality to our customers. By joining our team, your key responsibilities will include taking part in various projects, finding gaps in existing test plan, writing out thoughtful test cases to fill the gaps, drafting thoughtful test cases for new features & participating in executing them and probably automating relevant test cases.
Responsibilities :
●Take end-to-end ownership of modules assigned in every sprint involving creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, follow through meticulous executions and retest cycles and finally releasing the modules to production
●Enhancing existing test suites by finding gaps to ensure there is no bug leakage to production.
●Interact with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements, & help in holistic Test Cases.
●Exhibit complete ownership of Assigned Project : Arrive at test plans for the modules, estimates, proactively collaborate with PM and Dev regarding build timelines, raising red flags ASAP, bug fix prioritization, subsequent rounds of testing, regression testing and take the assigned modules to release by owning it up completely.
●Should independently be able to provide accurate estimates, plan, execute manual tests & coordinate testing activities for periodic releases with Developers, PMs and QA Automation team.
●Proactively engage, lead and execute with other teams and projects as/when required
●Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements

Technical Skills :
●Hands-On 6-8 years experience in all aspects of manual testing (Black & White Box Testing) of web applications
●Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software modules
●Understanding of concepts of working with DB (concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).
●Hands-on 1 year experience in Automated testing of web applications (Any Language) is a plus.
●Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
●Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
Soft Skills :
●Good communication skills to be able to relay info to and from all categories of internal stakeholders.
●Strong Commitment and Ownership towards agreed upon tasks - Should work around blockers and strive to keep moving ahead.
Qualifications :

Responsibilities
●Grasp new modules/features of the product quickly.
●Understand existing Karate UI Automation Framework quickly.
●Extend existing UI karate framework to include Performance test automation.
●Set up the Performance suite to test if the product is meeting expected benchmarks at various end points and to point out exact points of performance vulnerabilities.
●Set up the framework in a way that it could be target run for specific end points per release/project.
●Should be able to extend the set framework to include resiliency testing.
●In non-performance sprints, should be able to contribute to API Automation Testing by understanding and adding to existing API Test Automation Framework.
