Area Sales Manager

Job Description:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales growth, expanding distribution networks, managing dealer relationships, and leading the local sales team to achieve organizational objectives. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in sales management within the home appliances or consumer electronics sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives to maximize performance and productivity.
• Identify and onboard new dealers and distributors within the assigned territory.
• Strengthen and maintain long-term relationships with key dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
• Ensure effective territory coverage and optimal resource allocation.
• Manage regional budgets to maximize profitability and ROI.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and reporting systems.
• Drive brand visibility and market penetration within the assigned region.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of progressive sales experience in the consumer electronics or home appliances industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong experience in dealer and distributor onboarding and channel expansion.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of LED TVs, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, and Washing Machines market
