If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing automation end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.   By joining our team, your key responsibilities will include taking part in various projects, finding gaps in existing UI automation framework, enhancing it to fill the gaps, picking up new modules for automation &  participating in executing automation suites for every sprint.     Responsibilities : â—ŹGrasp new modules/features of the product quickly.  â—ŹUnderstand existing Karate UI Automation Framework quickly.   â—ŹIdentify End-To-End (Regression) automation scenarios for new modules/features and write test plans to enable automating the feature within the existing framework.  â—ŹMaintain the existing suites ensuring scalability in midst of rapid changes on product code base in a way that the suites are providing valuable feedback for every sprint/release.  â—ŹEnhance existing UI Automation Framework with best industry standards and come up with innovative ideas wherever straight forward UI Automation seems impossible.  â—ŹHelp in extending & setting up framework to include API Automation for functional testing.  â—ŹOn non-automation sprints: Take end-to-end ownership of modules assigned in every sprint involving creating detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases,  follow through meticulous executions and retest cycles and finally releasing the modules to production   â—ŹInteract with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements & help in holistic Test Cases, Exhibit complete ownership of Assigned areas.  â—ŹProactively engage, lead and execute with other teams and projects as/when required  â—ŹBe open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements    Desired Experience   Technical Skills –   â—ŹA minimum of Hands-On 3 years’ experience in all aspects of manual testing (Black & White Box Testing) of web applications.  â—ŹA minimum of Hands-On 5 years’ experience in Front-End/UI Automation using Karate/Selenium.  â—ŹA minimum of Hands-On 3 years’ experience in API Test Automation.  â—ŹExperience in maintaining existing test suites in quick pace per sprint in midst of rapid changes of product code.  â—ŹExperience in enhancing existing framework to make it perform better.  â—ŹStrong in concepts of working with DB (concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  â—ŹExperience of working with gitlab/github.  â—ŹExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases   â—ŹUnderstanding of concepts of working with DB (Strong on concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  â—ŹExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus   Soft Skills : â—ŹGood communication skills to be able to relay info to and from all categories of internal stakeholders.  â—ŹStrong Commitment and Ownership towards agreed-upon tasks - Should work around blockers and strive to keep moving ahead.     Qualifications :   â—ŹB.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering.  â—ŹISTQB Certification is MUST  â—ŹPrior experience working on B2B Software, Platform or Product is must   â—ŹDomain experience from Finance, Capital Markets, Private Equity (This is must-match)
