If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing automation end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.   By joining our team, your key responsibilities will include taking part in various projects, finding gaps in existing UI automation framework, enhancing it to fill the gaps, picking up new modules for automation &  participating in executing automation suites for every sprint.     Responsibilities : ●Grasp new modules/features of the product quickly.  ●Understand existing Karate UI Automation Framework quickly.   ●Identify End-To-End (Regression) automation scenarios for new modules/features and write test plans to enable automating the feature within the existing framework.  ●Maintain the existing suites ensuring scalability in midst of rapid changes on product code base in a way that the suites are providing valuable feedback for every sprint/release.  ●Enhance existing UI Automation Framework with best industry standards and come up with innovative ideas wherever straight forward UI Automation seems impossible.  ●Help in extending & setting up framework to include API Automation for functional testing.  ●On non-automation sprints: Take end-to-end ownership of modules assigned in every sprint involving creating detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases,  follow through meticulous executions and retest cycles and finally releasing the modules to production   ●Interact with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements & help in holistic Test Cases, Exhibit complete ownership of Assigned areas.  ●Proactively engage, lead and execute with other teams and projects as/when required  ●Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements    Desired Experience   Technical Skills –   ●A minimum of Hands-On 3 years’ experience in all aspects of manual testing (Black & White Box Testing) of web applications.  ●A minimum of Hands-On 5 years’ experience in Front-End/UI Automation using Karate/Selenium.  ●A minimum of Hands-On 3 years’ experience in API Test Automation.  ●Experience in maintaining existing test suites in quick pace per sprint in midst of rapid changes of product code.  ●Experience in enhancing existing framework to make it perform better.  ●Strong in concepts of working with DB (concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  ●Experience of working with gitlab/github.  ●Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases   ●Understanding of concepts of working with DB (Strong on concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins).  ●Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus   Soft Skills : ●Good communication skills to be able to relay info to and from all categories of internal stakeholders.  ●Strong Commitment and Ownership towards agreed-upon tasks - Should work around blockers and strive to keep moving ahead.     Qualifications :   ●B.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering.  ●ISTQB Certification is MUST  ●Prior experience working on B2B Software, Platform or Product is must   ●Domain experience from Finance, Capital Markets, Private Equity (This is must-match)
