Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our dark store operations in Science City, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will manage daily warehouse activities, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will lead a team to maintain efficiency and achieve our customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
∙Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, alongside other relevant tasks
∙Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
∙Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, and implement best practices for inventory management.
∙Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
∙Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
∙Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
∙Reporting: Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for senior management.
Qualifications:
∙Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
∙Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
∙Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
∙Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
∙Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∙Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
